The OutbackRP rulebook

By joining OutbackRP you agree to follow these rules. Staff may act on behaviour that breaks the spirit of a rule, not just its wording.

Community Rules

Apply everywhere: in game, in Discord, and in voice.

C1 Treat all players with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, slurs, or personal attacks are strictly prohibited.

C2 Respect the staff team. Do not argue, abuse, impersonate, or disrespect staff members. Use proper tickets for disputes.

C3 Cheating, exploiting, hacking, mod packs, macros, or abusing glitches is strictly prohibited and may result in a permanent ban.

C4 Sexual harassment, explicit content, self-harm themes, or inappropriate roleplay is not allowed.

C5 Report rule breaks through official channels. Do not witch-hunt, retaliate, or handle punishments yourself.

C6 All characters must be 18+. Characters may not be portrayed as minors through voice, appearance, or behaviour.

C7 Use a clear working microphone. Voice communication is required unless approved otherwise.

C8 Do not break character unless staff has clearly requested OOC communication.

C9 Advertising other servers, communities, or services is prohibited.

Roleplay standards for everyone in the city.

F1 Metagaming is prohibited. Do not use information your character has not learned in roleplay, including streams, Discord, or other characters.

F2 Powergaming is prohibited. Do not abuse mechanics, force unrealistic actions, or perform actions your character could not realistically do.

F3 FearRP is required. Value your character's life and act realistically when threatened or injured.

F4 New Life Rule applies after death. You cannot remember events surrounding your death unless properly revived by emergency services.

F5 Roleplay your injuries realistically. Severe injuries require realistic reactions and medical roleplay.

F6 RDM (Random Deathmatch) is prohibited. Do not kill players without proper roleplay or escalation.

F7 VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) is prohibited. Do not use vehicles as weapons.

F8 Combat logging is prohibited. Do not disconnect to avoid roleplay situations, chases, or consequences.

F9 FailRP is prohibited. Always maintain realistic and immersive roleplay.

F10 Baiting police, gangs, or players to force interactions without proper roleplay is prohibited.

F11 "Must Win" mentality is not allowed. Roleplay is about creating scenarios, not always winning.

F12 Real Money Trading (RMT) is prohibited. Do not trade in-game items, money, or assets for real-world currency.

F13 Do not use real-world criminal organisations, extremist groups, or hate groups in roleplay.

F14 Trolling, disruptive behaviour, or intentionally ruining roleplay experiences is prohibited.

F15 Robberies must have meaningful roleplay behind them. Do not repeatedly target players without reason.

F16 Emergency service equipment cannot be stolen.

F17 Safe zones and whitelisted businesses are protected areas. Hostile actions are not permitted.

F18 Robbery, kidnapping, or hostile actions must have proper roleplay justification.

F19 You may not carry players on motorcycles or while driving vehicles.

Report it through official channels. Don't retaliate or handle it yourself (C5).
